Common questions
It will not connect.
Make sure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network, or switch to Bluetooth in Settings. Confirm the Mac app is running and shows a pairing code.
Typing or clicking does nothing.
Open System Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Accessibility and Automation. Confirm Control My Mac is allowed.
What is free vs paid?
The Mac app is free. The iPhone app gives a 1-week free trial of the full experience. After that, the free tier keeps the trackpad, basic clicks and composer keyboard, while Advanced mode adds the app launcher, Mac keyboard shortcuts, window switching and advanced gestures.
Is it private?
Yes. There are no accounts and no servers. Your devices talk directly over your local network or Bluetooth. See the Privacy Policy.
